From factory to field, from waste to feed, this is how we're applying fresh thinking to the circular economy.
For #FoodWasteActionWeek we're pleased to share news that we have already redirected in excess of 1,200 tonnes of waste into animal feed since we started this project late last year.
We're now fully converting one of our biggest waste streams into a viable commodity, animal feed used for a local cattle farmer in the area (only 6 miles away), reducing our carbon footprint and fighting waste.
We hope we’ll be able to move more fruit waste into similar projects as part of our sustainable vision for the future.
