Being community minded forms part of our core values and ways of working here at PrepWorld.
During the pandemic we reached out to local hostel for the homeless, House of Mercy, to offer support in the form of fruit donations.
Fast forward a few years and our support has grown for this brilliant charity.
To celebrate their work and help raise their profile, we sent our team in to speak to Karen Mills, Manager of the House of Mercy to understand the great work that they are doing in the community, we also spoke with our Business Support Manager Marnie Wyatt on the support we’ve been able to provide - from monthly fresh fruit donations, to warm winter clothes donated by our members of staff.
Watch the video below to learn more about the House of Mercy and how you can support them.
Empowering locals
We firmly believe in the power of community-driven initiatives. The House of Mercy hostel for the homeless is a shining example of a program that provides not just shelter, but also hope, dignity, and empowerment. By offering a safe haven and support services, the House of Mercy enables individuals to rebuild their lives and regain their independence.
Making a difference together
With our ongoing support, the House of Mercy hostel can reach even more individuals in need. By focusing on immediate relief and also long-term solutions, we can help provide individuals with the tools and resources necessary to reintegrate into society successfully.
