From field to factory and beyond, we're always on the lookout for opportunities to apply some fresh thinking..
As we continue our drive towards being a more sustainable business, we noticed that some of our SKU's were being packed in a retailer tray that had a lot of extra space.
We managed to source a lesser used tray that has an optimal height for our packs and then went about the process of getting these lines packed and delivered in the new trays.
We've now fully moved over to these new trays, which has shown cost savings for our retailer but more importantly, it has reduced our environmental impact. We're expecting to lower our lorry loads by 255 this year, that's nearly 5 lorries less every week!
